The Situation

The organization was interested in a competitive compensation and benefits review and assessment relative to similarly-situated organizations and best practices. There had been no comprehensive compensation and benefits analysis completed in several years.

The Deliverables

  • Provide peer group analysis as well as analysis based on published survey data.
  • Assess the organization’s benefit plan design features and costs versus competitive market data and develop any recommended directions for change.
  • Understand the company’s current/future compensation structure design/cost needs and requirements.
  • Develop an approach for their compensation structure.
  • Demonstrate the competitiveness of the current organization’s pay practices (base pay and total cash) by function and level.

The Results Achieved

  • Study was conducted and results were provided to the organization and a Decision Support Group and the organizations’ Compensation Committee and Board within the requested timeframe of four (4) months.
